“The ‘little sibling’ of Lósi Major, Társa Pagony, opened its doors in August 2019 in Magyarkút. We had long wanted a second venue that could better accommodate small weddings with comfort and style. However, in 2022, we relocated Pagony to an even more beautiful and enchanting forest in Penc. This charming little village, similar to Verőce, is located near Vác, just 10 km from the M2 motorway.

Leaving Penc behind, a white gravel road winds its way into the forest towards Keszeg. Among the tall pine trees lining the road, you can already feel the scent and tranquility of the forest, then the breathtaking panorama unfolds and the building stands atop the hill.

Tents nestle among the trees, with a path illuminated by fairy lights leading to them; behind the Barn is a small pond, and a shady ceremonial area. In good weather, everyone lounges on the terrace, either by the dinner table or just sipping drinks; but rain also provides a romantic backdrop for meals and parties held in the Barn.

As with our larger venue, Lósi Major, we leave you plenty of time. From Friday six pm until Sunday two pm, the place is yours, allowing plenty of time to get ready for the wedding and to rest after the dancing until dawn!

Guests don’t have to go far either, as our glamping tents can accommodate up to 47 guests, and those looking for even more comfort, we have 6 rooms in the house, housing 16 guests.

It is designed for smaller weddings, primarily catering to a guest list of 50 people; the venue’s fixed rental fee applies to this number of guests. We accept a maximum of 80 guests for weddings, as in case of bad weather, this is the number we can comfortably seat in the Barn and still have room for dancing.”

What do we give you?

“LOCATION AND TIME. The entire 20-hectare area of Pagony is yours from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, after decoration and preparations, you and your helpers can already relax with us, so that the Big Day starts off wonderfully. On Sunday, you have until early afternoon to say goodbye or sleep off the wedding festivities.

The rental of the estate includes everything we have:

All our accommodation for up to 63 people. 10 glamping tents, 3-6 people/tent, 47 people total. 6 comfortable, en-suite rooms for the newlyweds or relatives, 16 people total
Exclusive use of the entire area from Friday 6 pm to Sunday 2 pm
Two beautiful options for the civil ceremony: in the shade of the pine forest or on the panoramic terrace. (The registrar of Penc is happy to come to us, and a religious ceremony can also be held)
For the reception, the Barn provides covered, enclosed space for up to 80 people
The Barn is a 160 sqm contiguous space, with separate female and male restroom facilities. The space is illuminated with LED spotlights. Power outlets are available for catering, decorative lights, and other equipment.

What do you bring?

Food, drinks, decorations, music, DJ, or dancers, it’s up to you. When it comes to catering, would you prefer a classic sit-down dinner or a relaxed food truck serving pulled pork burgers with disposable bamboo plates? Choose whatever you desire the most from each category, so that your wedding is truly joyful for you and your guests, the place is yours.

What’s not included in our price:

Food, drinks, service, dishwashing, and everything else related (but there’s no fee for bringing any of these)
Decoration, installing decorations
Additional decorative lighting beyond the basic (yet beautiful) lighting of the Barn

Sustainability

Self-sufficient

Pagony operates entirely off the grid, where we generate the necessary power with solar energy and our own well provides water. Sustainability is very important to us, and we pay attention to every detail to ensure that weddings have the smallest possible ecological footprint.

Natural

For us, being close to nature isn’t greenwashing; we provide the necessary infrastructure in the heart of a real 20-hectare forest without overdeveloping the place. Forest scent, a small pond, gravel paths – it’s an ideal place for those who want to see no asphalt and paving on their wedding day.

Pet-friendly

Pagony welcomes your furry friends. You and your guests are free to bring dogs, who can play and enjoy the place freely. Our local Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, Milos, can’t wait to meet new playmates.

Accomodation

What does glamping mean?

“Glamping” is a term derived from the fusion of glamourous camping. It’s for those who enjoy being in nature but don’t want to compromise on comfort. In the tents set up in the forest, you can sleep comfortably without being bothered by the first rays of the sun.

But what about the bed? Didn’t we say it was about tents? In these tents, you’ll find a comfortable double bed, hotel-quality mattress, and fresh bedding. There’s a carpet on the floor – of course, there’s also a floor, which is slightly raised from the ground. When the dancing is over, the string lights will guide you back to the tent: feel free to turn on the lights and charge your phone; every tent is equipped with electricity.

The interior height is also remarkable: this is not a “cramped” tent; the central beam is positioned at a good 3.5 meters high, so dressing won’t be a problem either.

Even in the summer, there may be a cool evening or two, but you can sleep comfortably here in the spring and fall as well, as each tent is equipped with a heater. The gas canister siesta stoves provide pleasant warmth for the night.

The tents range from smaller ones for 2-3 people to medium-sized ones for four, and even larger ones where, in addition to two double beds, there’s comfortably enough space for a pull-out sofa.

There are a total of 10 tents at Pagony. At maximum capacity, with the sofa bed unfolded, up to 47 guests can stay after a beautiful night following the party in the million-star hotel. The tents are manufactured by Bell Tent – Camping with Soul from England. The fantastic photos were taken by photographer David Kis!

Rooms

One part of the building is the Barn, which serves as the venue for the party, while the other half is a two-story accommodation building. The ground floor features a romantic living room with a fireplace, leading to a ground-floor bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, which may be ideal for elderly guests who prefer not to climb stairs. From the living room, a staircase leads up to the attic. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious honeymoon suite with a bathroom where you can get ready. In the northern wing, there are two small double bedrooms with a shared bathroom, and in the southern wing, there are two larger, four-person rooms, also with a shared bathroom. In total, the house can accommodate 16 people in 6 rooms.

You can plan the wedding dinner at Pagony as an outdoor garden party on our fabulous panoramic terrace. However, it’s not always guaranteed to have perfect weather for a wedding; in such cases, the Barn is a great backup plan where the party can easily be moved in case of sudden weather changes.

Nevertheless, the beautiful indoor space is not just a backup plan: you can confidently plan the dinner here, while the terrace remains a space for chatting, smoking, and enjoying drinks. Even with the maximum capacity, there’s enough room for both the party and dancing, not just for tables.

The Barn covers an area of 160 sqm, with separate women’s and men’s restroom facilities (each with 2 WC stalls and 1 shower).

Since you can bring your own decorations, it’s entirely up to you what you make of it; whether it’s a festival vibe, disco party, vintage wedding, or a romantic setting, only your imagination sets the limit!
